Medium Body, Dry (Barbera). The first Barbera vinified as a white wine (pressing and fermentation with no skin contact) from a castle estate, located in the prestigious Oltrepo Pavese area of Lombardy, boasting winemaking heritage dating back to the 13th century.
TASTING NOTES: Aromatic, hints of green apple. Crisp, fresh and dry, with a very long finish.
CELLAR NOTES: This special wine requires a very specific vinification process. The grapes are gently pressed, then the skin is immediately removed. This ensures there is no contact with the freshly pressed juice, resulting in a delicate and beautiful white wine from the Barbera grape (which can also be called Barbera Bianco). The vinification method for this wine uses stainless steel.
