WINERY NOTES: Ridgeview's Blanc de Noir is only made in the best vintages with a combination of their finest pinot grapes. A deep golden colour with a persistent fine stream of bubbles. Rich, earthy red fruit aromas are followed by a complex toasted palate. The finish is long- lasting and beautifully balanced.

REVIEW: "This continues to be my favourite wine from English Sparkling pioneers, Ridgeview, who blend their best Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier into this superb vintage wine in only the very best years. / The nose leads with red berries, orange blossom and ginger spice. In fact, there’s a real aromatic quality to this wine, its complex bouquet seasoned with winter spiced nuts and cherry. / The palate also delivers hugely on this wine; it feels like the perfect melding of the crunchy, fruit-forward styles and the more complex, savoury styles of Blanc de Noirs. WHY RIDGEVIEW?

We work closely with Italian wineries that we know well, but we are always looking to expand our portfolio to include other estates, from other countries, that fit our philosophy (family-run, small-production wineries; focus on special grapes/wines; passion projects). It's important to us that we meet the winery team, to get to know their stories.

2020 has been a challenge, given limits on travel to visit the vineyards directly. However, we feel excited to share wines from a Sussex estate that we visited in 2018, which is located a 30-minute drive inland from the coastal towns where both Chris and I grew up!
