ROMA DOC

One of Italy's newest appellations, the "ROMA" DOC was created in 2011 and can be used by specific varietals or blends if the grapes are from vineyards that surround the "Eternal City", the Italian capital, Rome.

The white usually features Malvasia del Lazio (aka Malvasia Puntinata) but can also include Trebbiano, Greco, Bombino Bianco and others;, the rose and red from blends that usually feature Montepulciano, Sangiovese, Syrah, the Cabernets and the rare local grape Cesanese.
